Replace the airline or check valve when it is cracked, hardened, leaking, blocked, or contaminated with water.
Replace the diaphragm or other service part when the pump is designed for user service and the manufacturer identifies that part as replaceable. Use the correct replacement specified for the pump rather than a visually similar part.
